March 2026: linking ideas & dashboard

Since launch, we’ve added new activities, more content, and better tools for teachers. Here’s what’s new.

New and Expanded Content

Linking Ideas (B1) — A new activity that practises connectors and discourse markers. Students link sentence halves and learn how however, although, because and similar words change meaning. Includes updated explanations and answer variations.

Word Guess Game — More vocabulary, improved loading and six-letter word support. Students can practise spelling and word recognition at their level.

Make/Do — Expanded collocation pools for grammar practice. More items for B1–B2 students preparing for Cambridge and IELTS.

B1 Open Cloze — New B1-level open cloze passages for FCE-style practice. Teachers can assign cloze homework aligned to exam formats.

New Tools for Teachers

Analytics Cleanup — The analytics page is simpler and easier to use. Progress and performance data are clearer and faster to interpret.

Classroom Welcome Message — Teachers can set a custom welcome for each classroom. Useful for instructions, links or reminders.

Value for Teachers

  • More variety — Linking Ideas, extra Make/Do items and B1 Open Cloze give more assignment options.
  • Better visibility — Content dashboard and analytics make it easier to track content quality and student progress.
  • Richer classrooms — Welcome messages support your own routines and expectations.

Value for Students

  • Clear explanations — Improved Linking Ideas explanations and answer variations clarify why certain links work.
  • More practice — Larger Word Guess and Make/Do pools reduce repetition and support spaced practice.
